School Health Kent

This is a free NHS service. School Health are a team of school nurses and practitioners who work with children, young people and families in Kent. You do not have to be in school to use this service. They offer a variety of services including counselling for young people.

  • You can also text 07520 618850 if you are aged between11-19 to speak to a nurse (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). This service is confidential and anonymous.

You can complete your own referral form to receive emotional wellbeing support.

The Mix

This charity offers counselling support for any young people under the age of 25. They have a webchat option for young people aged between10-18, alongside a telephone option. Their counsellors aim to support you by listening to your problems and helping you find ways to cope in a confidential, safe space.

Kooth

Offers emotional and mental health support, to 11-19 year olds (or 25 with SEND). Young people can have 'drop in' chats with a counsellor or therapist, book a 1:1 session, or talk to other young people anonymously
