Covid-19 Vaccination Update: 7th May 2021
Over 24,500 Whitstable Medical Practice patients have received at least their first dose of covid vaccination. Over 10,000 patient have now completed the vaccination course.
Due to limited vaccine supply we are unable to offer as many appointments as we would like. We are now able to offer appointments to all patients aged 40 and over.
If you are aged 40 and over or clinically at risk and still require an appointment please contact reception now.
If we are able, patients will be offered a choice of vaccine but this is usually not possible.
Details of priority groupings and current progress are below for your information.
We must continue to request that wherever possible all patients have someone chauffeur them to their appointment. This will ensure there are no delays in getting your vaccine and also prevents congestion. There are an array of fantastic taxi companies locally who have brought hundreds of patients through. If you are unable to organise a chauffeur you will have to leave your vehicle, queue outdoors and receive your vaccination in a separate mobile unit. This could be unpleasant if weather conditions are poor so please be warned!!
Thank you for your continued patience and support.
